Community Life
More Than Meetings
Congregation life at Windermere extends far beyond Sunday mornings. We offer a rich variety of educational programs, family activities, and community engagement opportunities that enrich the lives of members and neighbours alike — all rooted in Bible values.
Open to All
One of the most meaningful activities we offer is a completely free, in-home or online Bible study program — available to anyone interested in learning what the Bible actually says. This is not a recruitment exercise; it is genuine education at your own pace, on topics you choose.
A qualified member of the congregation — trained to teach, not preach — will meet with you weekly at a time that suits your schedule. You can start, pause, or stop at any time. Topics range from the purpose of life and the meaning of suffering, to practical Bible principles for family, work, and personal decision-making.
To date, millions of people worldwide have benefited from this free service. We are happy to arrange a study for anyone in the Edmonton area.

Our Programs
We provide structured programs to help parents raise children with strong spiritual values. Family Worship evenings, educational videos, and age-appropriate Bible materials help families study together and grow stronger.
Young people in our congregation are not sidelined — they are actively mentored, given speaking opportunities at meetings, and surrounded by peers who share their values and goals. Teen and young adult social gatherings foster genuine, wholesome friendships.
Members of the Windermere Congregation regularly engage their neighbours through door-to-door Bible education, community carts in public areas, and informal conversations — offering free literature and an open ear to anyone who wants to discuss life's big questions.
Fellowship & Events
Throughout the year, the Windermere Congregation organizes informal gatherings that strengthen the bonds of our congregation family. These may include picnics, game nights, seasonal get-togethers, and congregation outings that provide a wholesome social environment for members of all ages.
We also look forward to the Regional and Circuit Assemblies held periodically throughout the year — larger gatherings of Jehovah's Witnesses from across Alberta where upbuilding programs, dramatic productions, and heartwarming experiences reinforce our shared faith and community.
These events are open to members and interested guests alike. Ask any member for information about the next gathering.
Annual Highlights
An annual observance commemorating Jesus' sacrifice — the most widely attended event in the Jehovah's Witnesses calendar, open to all.
